Background

An accountant by profession has more than 15 years’ experience in the motor industry and in particular Mechanical Breakdown Insurance and other Motor Added Value Products (VAPS).
He joined Mechanical Breakdown Insurance (Pty) Ltd in 1992 and in 1996 the company was sold to Super Group Ltd where he stayed on as the financial director until 2002 at which time, he together with Bender Davis formed SA Warranties (Pty) Ltd in partnership with Imperial Holdings Ltd. He was the Financial Director of the company until 2006 and subsequently was appointed as the Managing Director of the company until December 2008 at which time he sold his interests to his partners, Imperial Holdings Ltd.
He then together with Rodney Rottanburg founded Mirod Capital (Pty) Ltd. , a Boutique Capital House specializing in private equity investments, Mergers and acquisitions , company restructuring and other financial advisory services.
